In Inglourious Basterds, evil is incorporated throughout the film. There are two sides to this story: Shosanna Dreyfus avenging her family and Lieutenant Aldo Raine and his team infiltrating the German army and killing them. There is blood, violence, guns, murders, and suicides. Defeat stems from all of the evil and is seen in the American
Jewish people after the Nazis have ruined their lives and taken everything from
them. The Jewish people counteracted against the Nazis and Hitler by putting on a show to distract and kill the Nazis.

In No Country for Old Men, evil is seen most in Anton Chigurh's actions as he kills everyone that tries to keep him from getting the money back. The man that found the money and took it was Llewelyn Moss who was then forced to go on the run with the money because Chigurh was coming after him. Sheriff Bell tried his best to do the right thing by questioning Moss' wife, Carla Jean, and trying to get to Moss before Chigurh found and killed him.
